It would be nice to have the option to assign a default platform by resource group
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
I have OUs with Linux systems that need a specific scan schedule. I have the resource groups setup and can manually change the platform in bulk on the resource group screen but this process is time consuming. Also when new systems are added to this OU they are auto onboarded with the default Linux platform assigned and I then need to go in and change the platform after the fact for the correct schedule to apply.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
manually change the platform of each resource within the group on the resource group screen and remember to change the platform for new servers added to the OU after the next AD scan.
