Add "Define Operation" Functionality to eDiscovery Similar to CAP

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Add “Define Operation” Functionality to eDiscovery Similar to CAP

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Hello,

In CAP, when the Global Threshold setting is turned OFF, it is possible to configure detailed detection conditions in the Content Detection Summary through the Define Operation feature.

However, eDiscovery does not currently provide this capability and only offers a Threat Threshold setting.
As a result, when scanning with eDiscovery, we are unable to define detection targets in detail, which often leads to the generation of unnecessary logs.

Could you please consider adding a feature similar to CAP’s Define Operation in eDiscovery, allowing more granular detection configuration?

Thank you.
Kind regards.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

There is currently no way to solve this issue. The unnecessary logs reduce visibility and make it difficult to identify important information.

Thank you for your request!

We’re pleased to let you know that adding Content Detection Summary parameters for the eDiscovery Policy is already on our product roadmap and will be introduced in a future release.

We’ll be happy to share more details, including the estimated timeline, as development progresses.

All the best,
Simona
