Ability To Add Exclusions For Sites Under MS Teams Monitoring Plan

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

We often archive SharePoint sites for our customers. Once archived, they show errors in Netwrix auditor that access is denied or the sites are inaccessible. For the SharePoint online monitoring plan, Netwrix has a way to exclude those in files such as omitsitscstorelist.txt omitstorelist.txt

However, as per Netwrix Support, Auditor currently does not have a way to exclude sites associated with a Teams group in the MS Teams Monitoring Plan.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We have no workaround so we will have to just ignore the errors.

Thank you for your feedback.

You can find the files omitsitscstorelist.txt and omitstorelist.txt under the following path:

C:\ProgramData\Netwrix Auditor\ShortTerm\MS Teams Auditing\Netwrix Auditor for SharePoint Online\Configuration{GUID}

These files work the same way as in the SharePoint Online monitoring plan and can be used to exclude archived or inaccessible sites from the MS Teams monitoring plan. Please follow the same formatting rules when populating them.

Changes to these files will take effect during the next data collection cycle.
