What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Windows 2022 OOB policy template for v4.0.0

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

While we don’t have v5.0.0 benchmark for windows 2022 is not currently available within Change Tracker, when we raised a request, we got information related to .oval.xml and .xccdf.xml files are available for v4.0.0, which are the files needed to make this benchmark readable in Change Tracker. once the files are reviewed and certified, can you share to this email-id: hashirun.syed@dxc.com

Hello Hashirun,

I checked the CIS Workbench and see both 4.0.0 and 5.0.0 are available for Windows Server 2022. We can convert these into the Change Tracker compliance report XML format.

Do you need 4.0.0 in addition to 5.0.0? I assume you want the latest published by CIS, which is 5.0.0.

@hashirun - CIS v5.1.0 benchmarks for Windows Server 2022 are attached.

We’re still awaiting formal certification from CIS, however you can still use these in the meantime (eventually we will bundle them into the Hub server once they’re certified).

To upload a benchmark XML template in Change Tracker:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Policy Templates
  2. Select the Action button
  3. Choose Upload Template
  4. Upload the latest benchmark report XML
