Netwrix Strongpoint for NetSuite 7.5
New: Updated access control settings on Custom Records required by NetSuite
NetSuite identified a security gap where the No Permission Required access type made Custom Record types publicly accessible, allowing full access to any user, including external and unauthenticated users over the Internet.
To address this issue, the External User Access and Unauthenticated Roles Access settings for custom records in Strongpoint for NetSuite have changed from blank to None. What this means:
- User logged in as Administrator, Strongpoint Developer Role, or Strongpoint Flashlight Role, and with a valid Strongpoint license, can view Strongpoint customizations.
- User logged in with any role that is not Administrator, Strongpoint Developer, or Strongpoint Flashlight, cannot view the customization record.
- User without a Strongpoint license cannot view the customization record.
