We are opening early access for Identity Manager v6.3 starting 15 December, and we invite customers to test the upcoming release before general availability. This is an opportunity to explore the new capabilities, validate improvements, and share feedback with the product team.

NIM profile connector
A new connector enables Netwrix Identity Manager profiles to be included in your governance model. NIM-generated profiles can now be governed and certified like any other application entitlement, including across multiple NIM instances.
This provides consistent oversight across entitlements, regardless of their source.
Assigned Roles dashboard updates
The Assigned Roles dashboard is now fully editable. You can manage role assignments directly from the dashboard:
- Add, edit, or remove assigned roles
- Filter by role to see which users have been granted or denied access
- View granted and denied roles together in one place
This makes access reviews faster and gives you clearer control over entitlements.
New date-only attribute type
A new date-only attribute type is available for fields that must remain consistent regardless of time zone. This is useful for values like birthdays or other calendar-based fields that should stay fixed.
- Dates are stored without time zone adjustment
- Displayed consistently for all users
- Datetime fields remain available when time precision is needed
This improves the accuracy of identity data across global environments.
Simulation improvements
Simulation output is now limited to the changes directly affected by the scenario you test. It no longer includes unrelated updates that will occur during the next full role model computation.
This makes simulations easier to interpret and helps you understand the impact of a change more clearly.
Audit trail improvement
Approval actions from users who have since been deleted are now preserved in the audit trail. This closes a previous gap and ensures full visibility for audits and compliance reviews.
