Launch Test Policy feature via API

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Dear All,
one customer asked to me if would be possible to invoke native server feature Test Policy via API from an external software, e.g. IAM system, in order to evaluate in advance if a password is coompliant with a policy or not. Would it be possible maybe via Directory Manager integration?
