Some questions regarding solution making, centralized dashboard & features

  1. Does netwrix provide a centralized dashboard for any more than one of netwrix products regardless of which category they reside in? (example: Auditor,Directory manager, password policy enforcer)
  2. Can 1secure completely manage & change configurations of those products?
  3. How can we provide “Directory Management” as a single solution with one centralized dashboard for both configuration/management and monitoring

Hi Muhammad,

Let me help answer those questions:

  1. At the moment Netwrix doesn’t have a single, centralized dashboard for those 3 products. However, Directory Manager 11.1 can manage PPE policies in it’s web based view.
  2. The current capabilities of 1secure do not have direct integration into the the existing Netwrix on-prem products but 1Secure itself does have a centralized dashboard for all the modules it has.
  3. The answer to this comes down to what information you want/need in your dashboard. Auditor and Directory Manager both have APIs that can extract the data from their systems. Furthermore auditor would have the PPE configuration changes in it’s data. You could pull that information into a tool that could provide a dashboard with the data you are looking for.

Hi Tyler,

Thanks for responding,

i have some more questions and i’d appreciate the answers for these as well

Can we provide netwrix 1secure as an extra module/license for centralizing all information (just for visibility and risk assessments etc), into a single dashboard by fetching data from different on-prem solutions of netwrix?

Working as a technical presales for netwrix solutions and focused on GRC and DSPM for now, i heard in a meeting that auditor usually takes between 1 to 20 minutes for updating the information in dashboard that it fetches from systems, is it true?
And i need to have technical, in-depth analysis and knowledge of how auditor works in different environments and the data sources etc., do we have some specific technical documentations for that?that would help me clear my doubts regarding technical capabilities of auditor, didnt find that info in docs.netwrix.com.
regarding the 3rd answer, which tool can do that for us, and how? like should we use some external tool to center all the information into a single dashboard or does netwrix have it?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Muhammad,

Let me jump in and address a couple of your questions.

Collection timing:
Collection timing can vary depending on the Monitoring Plan and its specific configuration. For example, with an Active Directory plan that has the Compression Service enabled, event logs are forwarded to the Auditor server every minute, then batched and processed approximately every 10 minutes. Since each Monitoring Plan can be configured differently, there isn’t a single, fixed collection interval that applies across the board.

In-depth documentation:
If you’re working with us as a partner, I’d recommend checking out the Netwrix Partner Portal. It includes in-depth training materials and technical guidance that go beyond our public documentation. While we don’t share internal details such as database schemas or low-level architectural diagrams, the Partner Portal does provide significantly more technical depth. Access requires an invitation, which your Netwrix Partner Manager can provide.

Regarding your third question:
I don’t have a specific example of what’s being referenced there, so I’ll let the @tyler.reese follow up and clarify that point.

Hope this helps clarify things a bit.
