Query on Netwrix Salesforce fields on Jira

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Hi Team,
We have a use case where we need to query information related to the Netwrix Salesforce component to validate whether users have entered the required metadata into Netwrix Salesforce before creating a ServiceNow ticket. This ticket is triggered by a Jira automation rule.

During our discussion with Leo Lacava, we learned that the team is currently working on development of Forge App. We kindly request you to consider embedding a solution within Jira that would allow us to perform this validation check and leverage it in our rule.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

This is our biggest challenge, as users often forget to enter the metadata component, resulting in non-compliance.

  • What specific Netwrix PG Salesforce metadata you’d want the rule to check

  • At which point in the Jira automation you’d want the validation to run

  • What the expected outcome would be (e.g., blocking a ticket, adding a warning, enriching data, etc.)

  • Any sample workflow or scenario that illustrates the end-to-end process
