We would like to notify you that if any of the machines within your organization run PolicyPak Cloud client versions older than v26.3, their certificates may have already expired or may be expected to expire soon. Versions 26.3 and above do support automatic certificate renewal which makes this a non-issue, hence updating your client version to the latest client version is the recommended course of action.

For the machines with certificates that have not yet expired, log into Cloud Portal and switch to the “Computer Groups” tab. Select a group, click “Edit group” and adjust “Netwrix PolicyPak Cloud Client Version” to the newest version available. Following the next sync, the endpoint cloud client will update automatically. Alternatively, you can simply download the cloud client installer and distribute it across the network manually.
For the machines with certificates that have already expired, follow these steps:
- Download the latest cloud client installer.
- Run this command as admin:
msiexec /i "PolicyPak Cloud Client x64 - 26.9.4752.786.msi" /norestart /quiet /lv*x "PolicyPak Cloud Client x64 - 26.9.4752.786.log" - Run this command as admin:
ppcloud /reissueascustomer
Please note that we highly recommend performing the update even if you’re not experiencing the issue now. At the same time, before you run an organization-wide upgrade, always perform scall-scale testing (we recommend this documentation entry on best updating practices). Thank you!
