Platform Governance for NetSuite minor version 7.8 released
We’re pleased to announce the availability of Netwrix Platform Governance for NetSuite 7.8, released on June 11, 2026 and pushed to customer environments on June 18, 2026 outside office hours.
This is a minor release that introduces no breaking changes and is recommended for all customers.
What’s new
Proactive alerts when the Auto-Spider hasn’t run
Admins can now opt in to receive automatic email notifications when the Auto-Spider portlet hasn’t been loaded in more than 4 days. This helps you catch documentation gaps before they become audit problems, without having to manually check spider status.
The alert is configurable from the Config and Stats report via a checkbox (disabled by default on install), and you can manage which admins receive the notification directly from that same page.

Employee names and links in user provisioning change logs
User provisioning change logs now display the full employee name and a direct link to the employee record. Previously, accounts using Employee ID in NetSuite didn’t surface the full name in the log, making provisioning reviews and audit trails harder to follow.
ACH processing changes no longer logged when the feature is off
Change logs for ACH Processing (Setup Preference) are no longer generated when ACH Processing is not enabled in the account. This eliminates a common source of confusing non-compliant change entries for customers who don’t use the feature.
Saved searches protected from automated clean-up
Saved searches scheduled via Schedule Revenue Recognition Journal Entries (Transaction > Financial > Schedule) are now excluded from the Automated Search Clean-Up. These searches are tied to an active scheduled process and will no longer be flagged for removal.
Clearer messaging for users without a valid license
The message shown when a user doesn’t have a valid Platform Governance license has been updated with clearer, more actionable guidance so they can get to support and get unblocked faster.
