Keep the proxy configuration for cloud data sources after product update/upgrade.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
At present time there is no built in way to make the Entra ID, SharePoint Online, and Teams proxy configuration to persist automatically across an upgrade.
The best solution is to make this components aware of the system proxy defined on the server host where Netwrix Auditor is installed.
Another solution can be to ask to the user, that execute the update/upgrade, to provide the proxy configuration information (if any) at install time and automatically create the correct XML configuration for these components.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
I manually update about ten configuration files with the risk to mess up something…
