What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
We are requesting official support for the Pardus operating system in Netwrix Endpoint Protector.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Pardus is an open-source, national Linux distribution based on Debian 12, widely used across public institutions in Türkiye. It is particularly preferred by government agencies, municipalities, and organizations in the defense and military sectors, and its adoption continues to grow.
The Netwrix Endpoint Protector agent can technically be installed on Pardus, since it is based on Debian 12. However, when the Content Aware Protection module is enabled, the system completely freezes and becomes unresponsive until a reboot. In fact, even an empty policy (with no content filters defined) is enough to trigger this issue. As a result, it becomes impossible to test or deploy the product in environments where Pardus is used.
This limitation has already become a significant blocker in several ongoing public sector projects that are currently in evaluation or procurement stages.
Providing official support for Pardus would strengthen Netwrix’s position in the Turkish public sector and offer a serious competitive advantage—especially as some alternative solutions in the market already support Pardus environments.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Since the agent either cannot be properly installed or does not run stably on Pardus, we are currently unable to provide any workaround or solution for this issue.
