What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Retaining file level changes for all new build GID11 deployment.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Hi,
We’ve lot of customization in Design Node and File level for our portal running on multiple servers. Now with any GID11 new build the file level changes are reverted due to which we end up reconfiguring all the portals again and again AND this is NOT a GOOD customer experience. Can this be FIXED?

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

NO SOLUTION only MANUAL WORK.

Appreciate the feedback Nayan and the follow up conversation in our meeting. There are some configurations which can be saved and imported depending on where and what they are (design, role configurations, etc) but if changes are made into page source (layout, script, etc) those are definitely overwritten to prevent breakage. Having a list of changes you typically make will help us consider what to separate into configuration apart from page code.
