I’ve been using Netwrix Auditor in my organization for a couple of years and am currently testing the Access Reviews add-on.
At the moment, reviewers are still required to enter their Active Directory credentials to access the web console. As we are moving towards a fully passwordless environment, this is becoming the only application preventing us from achieving that goal.
Do you have any plans to evolve the authentication mechanism for Access Reviews - such as supporting SAML or Microsoft Entra ID authentication?
Thank you for your question — this is a great topic, and I wanted to make sure I gave you accurate information before responding, so I’ve been doing some hands-on testing with Access Reviews.
A bit of background that may be helpful: Access Reviews shares its codebase with another Netwrix product called Access Information Center. While Access Information Center does support Single Sign-On configuration, my initial testing suggests that this capability is not currently available in the Access Reviews add-on, as some changes were made when it was adapted specifically for use with Netwrix Auditor.
That said, I want to be thorough before giving you a definitive answer, so I’m going to do some additional internal checking to make sure I’m not overlooking anything. I’ll follow up here tomorrow with confirmed information.
If it turns out that SSO/SAML/Entra ID authentication is not yet supported in Access Reviews, I would strongly encourage you to submit a Feature Request on our Netwrix Ideas Portal. Requests submitted there are reviewed by our product team, and your use case — moving to a fully passwordless environment — is exactly the kind of real-world scenario that helps drive prioritization.
I appreciate your patience, and I’ll be back in touch shortly.
