Inaccessible fields

Hi all,

We are currently on 9.2.1.32530.

In our Password Secure Database are some fields which show the “No permission” text, where no user has access to.
Our forms usually have 20-50 fields and should always get created in the same way - put it in the correct OU, which automatically grants full access rights to all roles which need it.

Some old records were not created like this, but later moved to the correct OU. Some of these old records now have one or multiple form fields which are not accessible for anyone, not even the user account who created the record.

What can I do to get the data from these fields, or better, change permissions on these fields?
Is there any way, maybe using admin client, database manipulation or something else to get to these fields?

Hi :waving_hand: thanks a lot for your question!!

Technically, there are mechanisms in place that should prevent objects from becoming inaccessible. However, if a field really has no valid permissions for anyone, then unfortunately, there’s no way to access it directly.

That said, we definitely want to take a closer look at your specific case to understand what happened and explore possible solutions. Could you please open a support ticket so our team can investigate further?

Cheers,
-sascha
