Identifying and Auditing Content Aware Protection (CAP) Policy Assignments in Endpoint Protector

Hello,

One of the challenges we encounter when managing computers in Endpoint Protector is ensuring that all systems are assigned an appropriate Content Aware Protection (CAP) policy.

I would appreciate your guidance on the following:

  1. Is there a way to identify which computers have not been assigned any Content Aware Protection (CAP) policy?
  2. For each Content Aware Protection (CAP) policy, is it possible to generate a list of all computers currently assigned to that specific policy?

Previously, I raised this issue with CoSoSys Support; however, their recommendation to export the ‘Effective Rights’ information did not provide the details required.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Lee,

There is no easy way to get a list of computers that don’t have a Content Aware Protection policy assigned or get a quick overview of computers assigned to a certain policy. It has to be done manually, which can be time consuming for large organizations. It would be valuable to have some streamlined reports for auditing.

Enhancing the Effective Rights section to include these details could be a good solution.

@derek.putnam would it be possible to move this post to the Ideas section of Endpoint Protector? Or would you recommend that Lee creates a new post under “Ideas”? Sorry, still learning how the portal works :grinning:

Thanks!
