I am logging certain DML statements in Azure SQML MI but I see that Netwrix omits DML statements as shown in the screenshot. How do I edit these whitelists?
Hi Jonathan,
Thank you very much for using the add-on and for your feedback. Unfortunately, the current version does not support adding DML statements. The list shows the statement types that are supported for collection — you can disable items from this list, but cannot add new statement types beyond what’s currently supported.
This is a feature we’ve considered for future development. If you could describe your specific requirements and how you’d like this to work, it would greatly help us evaluate and design this capability.
Thank you in advance, Evgenii
Thanks, that answers my overall question. But to follow up, how would I disable actions from the white lists?
Hi,
This page contains two scripts: one for server-level changes and one for database-level changes. Deploy and Configure Add-On | Netwrix Product Documentation
I believe the easiest approach would be to remove the operation types you’re not interested in from the scripts. This way, those audit won’t be generated at all and therefore won’t be collected.
Alternatively, you can remove specific statement types from the list in the add-on settings. In this case, the audit will still be generated but will be filtered out during collection.
I would prefer it to be the first option.
Evgenii
