What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Add “HOSTS File Modification” tool - PolicyPak

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Hi! We have a use case specific to networking, where they basically need admin type credentials (elevated) to modify their HOSTS file. This, quite literally, like 85% of the requests. You guys already have tools for Printers, Add Remove Programs, etc; I’d love to see “a front end” for them to modify the HOSTS file, which we could ILT.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Elevated permissions, right click run, and then elevate command prompt, run Notepad, etc.
