What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

I would like the FS_UpdateProxy Job to update the version/build number and install date in control panel > programs and features page.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

At this time, the FS_UpdateProxy job does not update the version number or install date in the registry or control panel. This causes headaches for support and customers as it is much more difficult to verify the build of the FSAA Proxy Service installed, especially when there are 25+ servers to check.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

  1. Open the %SAInstallDir%FSAA directory on the NAA Console server and note the versions of the following executables:
    • FSAAAppletServer.exe
    • FSAAScanHost.exe
  2. Open the FSAA folder in the NAA FS Proxy Service installation directory and compare the versions of the following executables to the ones on the NAA Console server:
    • FSAAAppletServer.exe
    • FSAAScanHost.exe
