Location-aware policy
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
We are facing a request to monitor file actions like “access/modify/movement” on a specific folder (and all sub-folder) of a network share.
I tried with File Location Denylist, but it was too much. I tried with CAP, by selecting Network Shares, but it was too much as well 
Working with regex is not easy (even if chatGPT can give me some inspiration).
So the goal is monitoring (and managing) all files coming from a specific network share without using regex.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
The only way is to use File Tracking on WHOLE file system.

We’re pleased to let you know that your suggestion has already been acknowledged and added to our internal roadmap. While it’s not currently prioritized for immediate development due to existing full-list commitments, it is being considered as part of our long-term planning.
In the meantime, I highly recommend using the File Tracing workaround that my colleague Andreas already outlined. This serves as an effective interim solution until more permanent support can be implemented in this way.
