Add monitoring support for EMC Unity 5.5 in Netwrix Auditor for File Server

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

We are Softnext Technologies Corp., a distributor of Netwrix.
Currently, we are assisting a client with a product POC (Proof of Concept) for Netwrix Auditor, focusing on the File Server module.
The target system for monitoring is EMC Unity version 5.5. However, this version is currently not supported by Netwrix Auditor.

We kindly request that Netwrix consider adding support for EMC Unity 5.5 in future updates to accommodate this and similar use cases.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

This limitation may ultimately result in the client deciding not to proceed with the purchase of the product.

While EMC Unity 5.5 is not yet officially listed as supported in Netwrix Auditor for File Servers, based on its architecture and similarity to previously supported versions, it is likely that the platform will work as expected. We recommend proceeding with your PoC and testing the integration with a trial version of Netwrix Auditor.

We have already tested using the trial version of Netwrix Auditor.
However, during the testing process, we were unable to establish a successful connection.
We also opened a support ticket with the vendor’s engineer (Ticket Number: 00450651), in which we included all relevant test results and screenshots of the issues encountered.

Thank you for the reply. May I kindly ask you what version of Netwrix Auditor was used for tests?

Netwrix Auditor 10.6 is not the latest version of the Auditor. Regarding the latest version, Netwrix Auditor 10.8, and Unity 5.5, we have verified that the collector supports collection from the new Unity 5.5 version without any issues.
