What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Add a section in the PingCastle Settings page that shows detailed license information, including creation date, number of domains, licensed features, licensed product, expiry date, and license owner.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Currently, PingCastle does not provide an easy way to view license details within the application interface. This creates challenges for administrators who need to quickly verify license validity, track expiry dates, or confirm the scope of licensed features. Without this visibility, managing compliance and planning renewals becomes cumbersome, often requiring manual checks through external documentation or support channels.
By displaying license information directly in the Settings page, users gain immediate transparency and control. This feature would:
Reduce administrative overhead by eliminating the need to cross-reference external sources.
Improve compliance and audit readiness by making license details easily accessible.
Enhance user experience by centralizing critical information in one intuitive location.
This solution is the best approach because it leverages the existing Settings interface, ensuring minimal disruption while providing maximum value to administrators.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Currently, administrators either:
Contact Netwrix Support for license details
or
Check Scheduler Logs for errors such as:
Exception: {“type”:“RFC 7231 - Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP/1.1): Semantics and Content was an error processing your request.”,“status”:500,“detail”:“There was an error: The number of active domain (X) is above the license (Y). Delete domain(s) or increase the license.. If this problem persists, please contact support.”}
This workaround is inefficient, reactive, and does not provide proactive visibility into license status.
