What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Run Once Triggers are not per user. It is run on every “new” desktop for this user.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
We know that run once per user, per device is default GPO behaviour as it seems the relevant GPO history is not located in the users profile.
For non-persistent VDI environments every login is a new machine, which results in “run once” is run for every login.
For example it is not possible to assign an FTA like .pdf only once to users to let them decide for themselves afterwards.
Can you implement “real” run once, maybe even to let Admins decide if it should be “per user” or “per user, per device”?
I know there are workarounds which I used many times, but its not that easy in every case like FTA.
For big environments it would also blow up the already huge configuration set and impact login performance even more.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Where possible we are using scripts to check if its already run using a reg-key or file.
