Activities: Immediate Run Replication A in Credential Release

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Enable an automatic “Run Replicate” action to be triggered together with the “Credential Release” function, ensuring immediate credential replication across all Domain Controllers and eliminating the 15-minute access delay for users in secondary sites.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Context Description
We currently have three sites, each equipped with a Domain Controller and its respective redundant controller, all belonging to a single domain.
Each site also has its own data center, in addition to a fourth data center hosted in the cloud.

Issue Identified
When a user is enabled through the “Credential Release” function on the web login page, the user is correctly activated on the primary Domain Controller. However, access to servers located in secondary sites becomes available only after approximately 15 minutes, since data replication between Domain Controllers follows Microsoft’s minimum configurable replication interval (15 minutes).

Proposed Improvement
We propose implementing an Activity that automatically triggers a “Run Replicate” operation together with the “Credential Release” function.
This would immediately replicate credential updates across all Domain Controllers, allowing users to access servers in all data centers without delay.

Expected Benefits

  • Elimination of the 15-minute delay for accessing servers in secondary sites.
  • Improved operational efficiency and reduced waiting time for users.
  • Immediate synchronization of authentication information across all Domain Controllers.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Currently, to allow a user to access servers in secondary sites, we must avoid using the “Credential Release” function or wait approximately 15 minutes for the credentials to replicate automatically across the Domain Controllers.
