New browser window under Netwrix privilege secure plugin

Hi,

When a web application protected by the NPS plugin opens a new browser window through a link, the plugin displays the following message:

“Please start the session for this tab (right-click … or press ALT+SHIFT+S)”

This happens even when an activity/session has already been started in the original browser tab.

I have observed this behavior, for example, with the legacy Exchange Control Panel (ECP).

Is it possible to configure either the connection profile settings or the browser plugin so that the newly opened window automatically joins the existing session instead of requiring a new session to be started manually?

We are currently using version 26.03.2.

As far as I’m aware, there is no configuration that can be done to control behavior of the NPS plugin (aside from items in the connection profiles). I would love to see some additional configuration options as well, but you’d likely have to create an ideas post for it. If you do, I’ll throw a vote your way!
