Endpoint Protector and macOS Golden Gate Compatibility
About this announcement
Apple rolled out macOS 27 Golden Gate on September 14, 2026. Just as with prior macOS updates, Netwrix Endpoint Protector is providing zero-day support for the new release.
What You Need to Do
- Already running EPP Client 2608 for macOS endpoints? You’re all set; no action needed.
- On an earlier version? Upgrade to 2608 before moving your endpoints to macOS 27.
Known Issue
Bluetooth permission pop-up requires manual approval
On macOS 27, both a fresh EPP Client install and an upgrade of an existing install trigger a Bluetooth permission pop-up that requires manual end-user approval. The silent pre-approval method available on earlier macOS versions is no longer supported by Apple. We’re actively working on a solution and will share updates as they’re available.
