What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
NAA’s Exchange Online mailbox analysis should be migrated from Exchange Web Services (EWS) to the Microsoft Graph API before Microsoft begins disabling EWS in October 2026.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
NAA currently uses the Exchange Web Services (EWS) API for Exchange Online mailbox analysis. Microsoft has announced the full retirement of EWS in Exchange Online, with disablement beginning in October 2026 and completing in April 2027. As with all Microsoft deprecation rollouts, disablement is happening in waves — some customers may already be experiencing failures while others are not yet impacted. The Microsoft Graph API is Microsoft’s designated replacement and supports the mailbox scenarios NAA relies on. Migrating to Graph would resolve failures for customers already affected, protect all remaining customers ahead of the hard deadline, and align NAA with Microsoft’s current platform direction.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
There is no workaround. EWS is being disabled at the platform level by Microsoft and cannot be re-enabled through configuration, permissions, or any action on the customer or NAA side. Customers impacted by the wave rollout have no path to restoring Exchange mailbox analysis until the product is updated.
