Enable account as the last option in Activity
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
It would be beneficial for accounts managed by the PAM system to have an option to be automatically enabled as the last action in the Activity list. This option should be selectable by the PAM administrator.
This functionality is required in the following scenario:
We are using Microsoft SharePoint, and there is option for maximum 2 (two) SharePoint administrators for the site collections. If the primary site collection administrator account is disabled, the secondary site collection administrator cannot access the site.The primary account must be active for the secondary account to access the site. This is how Microsoft Share point works.
By allowing automatic enabling of the account as the last action, the PAM administrator can ensure that access is maintained for secondary administrators when the primary account is disabled.
Currently, if the primary account is managed by the PAM system, it is automatically disabled at the end of a session. As a result, the secondary administrator cannot access the SharePoint site collections.
Because of this default behavior, it is not possible to integrate the PAM solution(Netwrix Privilege Secure) for managing Microsoft SharePoint administrators.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
