Give the ability to determine if we want Daily, Weekly or Monthly data included in the report
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Currently, report Subscriptions only allow us to select the delivery frequency (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly), but they do not allow us to customize the data range included in the report.
It would be beneficial if the reporting period could be configured independently of the delivery schedule. For example, we may want a report to be delivered daily, while the report itself contains data from the previous week or previous month.
This flexibility would also help prevent data gaps. If a daily report fails to send on a given day, the next report would still contain the missing data because it would be based on a larger reporting window rather than being limited to a single day’s activity. This would provide more reliable reporting and reduce the risk of missed information due to delivery issues.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
If we miss a day of data, we would then need to manually run a report to get the missing data.
